Ray
E. Marcrom
Pharm.D, FACA, FAPhA

| Ray is the president and CEO of Marcrom's Pharmacy and
Marcrom's Clinical Care Services. He is a graduate of the University of
Tennessee College of Pharmacy, where he earned his B.S. in Pharmacy in
1971 and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 1972. For his work on both the
state and national level in the profession, Ray was named one of the fifty
most influential pharmacists advancing pharmaceutical care as a standard
of practice by "American Druggist" in 1997. In 1985 he was named
"Pharmacist of the Year" in Tennessee, and in 1995 he was awarded
the "Daniel B. Smith Practice Excellence Award" from APhA. In
1998 he was named to the National Academy of Practice in Pharmacy as a
"Distinguished Practitioner", and in 2001 he was named an APhA
Fellow. Ray holds memberships in numerous professional organizations and
is a member of the faculty of The University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy
in addition to directing one of the earliest Community Pharmacy Residency
programs in the country. Dr. Marcrom is also internationally recognized
as a speaker, having presented over 250 programs throughout the United
States and in three foreign countries. |
