Residency Program
In cooperation with the American Pharmaceutical Association, Marcrom's Pharmacy provides a site for the University of Tennessee Community Pharmacy Residency Program, which is accredited by ASHP's Commission on Credentialing.

The one year residency consists of project development, professional activities, and pharmacy practice, which provides extensive advancement in competency and leadership skills. Residents are also encouraged make presentations to local/state organizations and to publish original research and/or review articles in pharmaceutical and medical journals.

Cindy Smith, Pharm.D., is the residency coordinator; Ray Marcrom, Pharm.D., and Richard Randolph, Pharm.D., are the primary preceptors.

The Community Residency Program at Marcrom's Pharmacy has recently been completed by students from some of the most prestigious universities in the nation, such as Mercer University, the University of California at San Francisco, the University of Kansas, and University of Tennessee.

Lindsay Michalcik, Pharm.D., from the University of Kansas, is the 2003-2004 resident.
